Our Story
Hey, I’m Georgina — founder of GRISÉ NYC. I’m really glad you’re here!
I started GRISÉ (pronounced gree-say) in memory of my mom, Griselina, who passed away from liver cancer in 2015.
She was bold, stylish, and full of love, and this brand is a reflection of all of that.
While still working my 9–5 (more like 50+ hours a week) at a production company, I launched GRISÉ on January 20, 2023... which also happens to be the anniversary of her passing.
That first year, I poured whatever time and energy I had into pop-up events across NYC and NJ, slowly building a presence and figuring things out as I went.
A year later, I got laid off, and honestly… that felt like the universe telling me: it’s time. I took that as my sign to bet on myself go all in, despite how scared I felt.
What began as a tribute quickly grew into my full-time purpose and passion.
I don’t follow trends. I create collections that make statements and spark conversation. Every collection is rooted in what I watched my mother wear, reimagined through my streetwear lens; a raw fusion of elegance, culture, and personal style.
GRISÉ is for minimalists, maximalists, and everyone in between. The designs are unisex, inclusive, and made to empower whoever puts them on.
I created GRISÉ to prove that jewelry can be meaningful, durable, and unapologetically stylish. From design to quality, everything about my brand is intentional. My collections are crafted from 18k plated gold and stainless steel, they are tarnish-free (which means no green!), waterproof, and designed for everyday confidence and wear.
From NYC pop-ups to icons rocking GRISÉ on global stages, this brand is built on purpose, passion, and persistence. From a dream to a movement, driven by love, and powered by all of you. Thank you so much for being part of it!
