Can I shower or swim in it?
Yes. Stainless steel is waterproof and sweat-proof, so it won't rust or turn your skin green. To keep gold plated pieces shining longest, take them off for hot tubs, chlorine and harsh cleaning products.
How long is the chain?
16" + 2" extender (40 cm + 5 cm). 16" sits at the collarbone, 18" just below it, and 20"–22" falls at the top of the chest.
